31 October 2011 - Notice on Mental Health Matter Start Allocation
We have today published a notice detailing our approach to allocating mental health matter starts both arising from the verification process and for those providers who are running out of matter starts before the end of the current schedule period (30 November). It also provides information on how we intend to allocate matter starts in the next schedule period.

1 July 2011 - Publication of Equality Impact Assessment of exclusive mental health legal services contracts in High Security Hospitals
We have today published the Equality Impact Assessment of exclusive mental health legal services contracts in High Security Hospitals.
The EIA was carried out to comply with our Disability Discrimination Act/Equalities Act duties in the three High Security Hospitals (HSHs).
As outlined in the Next Steps section, we do not propose to make any immediate change to contracting arrangements in HSHs but we have set out options for next steps. We're inviting providers and other stakeholders to submit views to us regarding these options by 29 July 2011 to:

Please note that contract validation is still ongoing and a number of contracts are yet to be issued, therefore these lists are subject to change.

Tender information
The deadline for submitting tenders to deliver Mental Health services from offices across England and Wales has now closed. The deadline was 12 noon on 31 March 2010.
Further details can be found in the Information for Applicants which is available in the documents panel on the right hand side of this page. All tenders for new contracts needed to be submitted through the LSC's secure eTendering system, which can be accessed through the eTendering portal.
